How can I stop falling in love so easily?

It's not pathetic,it's hard to control your feelings when you really like someone however i think this is more of lust then love situation.I'm not saying your to young to fall in love, I'm 16 and i thought i was in love with this guy but after we broke up i was thinking to myself did i really love him and guess what the answer was No.I just liked having someone there,thinking that Oh My God he could be the one.I think your best bet is to cut of all contact with him,get over him do things you like or meet other boys in your school.Most of all sit down and ask yourself am i really in love with him?
