What can I do about my cramps?
I'm in high school and every now then i'll get cramps during my time of month. Some people don't believe, me but the severity of my cramps can get so bad that I'll have to drop whatever it is I'm doing and do some deep breathing and it gets to the point where I am crying. I get nauseous and sometimes feel like I need to throw up. I stopped having this for a bit, but last week I was at a dinner with my family when it hit me again. I started breathing hard and the pain was just so unbearable, I always think that there's no way all girls can have this at school and still go about their day, I can barely breath and I'm holding onto a table for support. I felt as though I was about to give birth! :p I don't know how to describe the longevity of the height of the pain except that its like that dropping feeling you get when you are on a roller coaster. the feeling is there but there's nothing you can do to make it go away except wait it out and scream. of course, the pain version. Whenever it gets to this point im hyperventilating and sweating. Is this normal? I really don't think so, but i want somebody's opinion. Should I bother going to a doctor and see what I can do? Any suggestions or opinions?
