My kids school caught fire, significant structural damage causing it to possibly be closed next year...what no?

I don't think you should consider online school just because they might have to switch schools. Most of the kids at the other skill will understand the situation and be welcoming and I'm sure the schools have counselors to talk to them and help. It will be fine. Where I live they are doing a massive overhaul of the school districts so most of the kids will be going to new schools next year.
